YOU ARE INVITED to join in a time-honored tradition of caroling and tree lighting as the City of Lake Oswego rings in the holiday season on Friday, November 24th.  Gather at the corner of 5th & A to see the lighting of the Bigelow Plaza Holiday Tree, then parade to Millennium Park for the lighting of the Millennium Plaza Tree.  The festivities also include sweet treats at Millennium Plaza Park courtesy of Starbucks and a visit from a special guest from the North Pole delivered by our Lake Oswego Fire Department.

 

WHERE TO PARK:  Parking is available at the City Hall Parking lot (380 A Avenue) and in the public parking lot at Lake View Village (310 N State Street). 

 

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:

 

5:30 pm:  Lighting of the Bigelow Plaza Tree on the corner of 5th & A Avenue (Safeway). 

Parade to Millennium Plaza Park

5:50 pm: Lighting of the Millennium Plaza Tree.  Visits with Santa begin.

5:55 pm:  Performance by the Lakeridge High School Choir.

6:20 pm:  Performance by the Millennium Concert Band.
