Neil Kelly Company is offering free remodeling workshops Nov. 10th and Nov. 17th at its Westside Design Center, 15573 SW Bangy Rd, Lake Oswego. The workshops started in 1974 at Portland Community College campuses and local high schools as a way for area homeowners to learn more about their homes, understand the remodeling process and gather ideas.

 

Award-winning Neil Kelly designers teach all sessions and share trends in design, information on new materials and techniques, as well as review the professional design/build process. The free one-hour sessions are informal in style, allowing for plenty of questions and discussion.

 

Saturday, Nov. 10th Class: At 11 a.m. designer Barbara Murphy will present the workshop “Kitchen Design for Entertaining,” which will including the latest in design trends, creation of an efficient workspace and trends in cabinets and appliances. She will also show several recent projects to illustrate her topic.

 

At 1 p.m. Murphy will present the workshop “Creating a Splash in Your Bath,” which will cover current design trends and information on fixture selection. She will showcase recent award-winning bath projects.
