Lake View Village, the Centerpiece of Downtown Lake Oswego:

Last week, while everyone else was off on Spring Break, I had the chance to show a young couple around the City of Lake Oswego.  The husband’s company was relocating to the Portland area, and he and his wife were interested in moving to Lake Oswego.  In addition to looking at homes for sale in Lake Oswego I was looking forward to having lunch in one of the Lake Oswego downtown restaurants.   I knew exactly where to go.

Located adjacent to Millennium Park Plaza in Downtown Lake Oswego is Lake View Village.  The upscale complex is three blocks from the Lake Oswego Transit Center and conveniently served by five TriMet bus lines.  Comprised of 50,000 square feet of office space and an equal amount of boutique retail shops and restaurants, Lake View Village is a favorite of locals and visitors to the area alike who also appreciate the free parking garage, and Mt Hood views.  Restaurants include Five Spice, and Manzana Rotisserie Grill.  Popular retail shops include Sur La Table, Chico’s, Pendleton, and Grapevine. Lake View Village is a great place to hang out with family and friends and out-of-town clients!

While it might be a good idea to begin your search of homes for sale in Lake Oswego on the internet, I highly recommend getting in touch with a skilled Realtor when you are ready to narrow your search or are poised to make an offer.   Tap into a Soldera  Realtor's vast knowledge regarding property values and area amenities when you are ready to buy a home in Lake Oswego, West Linn, or the another neighborhood in the greater Portland area.  On our site, click on “Contact a Realtor” and get ready to make a move.
